Kids
Children, preschool through 6th grade, can sign up at their local Library and start a reading game board. The more they read, the more stickers and prizes they can earn. They can also earn stickers for checking out and returning Library materials or by participating in special activities.
Teens
Teens in 7th – 12th grades can sign up for a teen game board to earn a raffle ticket for reading, picking activities from the “Activity Box” and participating in library activities. Small prizes and raffle tickets are awarded at different points along the game board.
Camps and Other Groups
Summer camps and other groups may also participate in Be Creative @ Your Library. Books, printed materials, and prizes can be provided so that groups may run their own programs. Library staff can make site visits and present a Library program, or groups can schedule visits to their local Libraries. Please call your local Library to schedule an appointment.
All Free Library Branches, Regional Libraries, the Parkway Central Library, and the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped participate in Summer Reading for kids and teens; all activities are free and open to the public.
